Amzing Mosaic Art

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been doing mosaic art on our chromebooks. I really thought mosaic art would be easy but it was a bit hard for me. First we had to pick a picture so my first one was Rihanna it was hard to try make it look nice but also find shapes and colors that matches the picture. Even though it was difficult for me all I had to do is try even if I am still struggling with it. A few  minutes after struggling  Whaea Shanna helped me and I go the hang of it and this is how to turned out. Do you know how to do mosaic art?

Amazing Fun Maths

Kia ora koutou, This week in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to divide numbers using multiplication. It was really easy for me because I have done divided by before and I also understand it more then before. The hard part was trying to help other people because I understand it but they didn’t so I made a goal to try help people that need help and try make them understand it more better. Do you know how to divide numbers by using multiplication? Here is a DLO to learn

Amazing Interesting Angles

Lately in Te Ngahere we have been focusing on Angles for maths. We were learning how to use a protractor to measure angles like acute angle and a reflex angle. I didn’t understand it when we first started learning about angles but now that we have been working on angles more I understand it better. The hard part for me was where you place the protractor but then Gina came to sit by us and talked it out with us. The easy part for me was knowing what angle they are and how many degrees are in the angle. When I first learnt about angles I was overthinking  it then I learnt to take my time. Do you know any angles ?

Animation

Kia ora Bloggers, This week and last week we have been working on animation to go with our covid-19 Narrative writing. On Thursday Whaea Dibs came in to Te Ngahere to talk to us  about how we are going to make our animation the most two important parts  of the animation was to have a wall floor background if you dont know what a wall floor background is its a background that has a wall and a floor together,  also the other main part of the animation was to have you thing on png. If you dont know what a png is for a explain say you where getting a bed and it had a background on it png is basically has no background just a bed. The hard part was to think how I’m going to have my layout but the easy part for me was basically the whole animation because I really enjoy doing animation. Do you like creating animations?  Have a good week and be kind to everyone!!!!! I haven’t finished the animation.

Types of Angles

For the last week we have been learning about angles. The hardest for me to understand were the reflex angle and obtuse angle.  When I first  learned  about angels I didn’t  really understand what an acute angle was. Whaea Chrissy took us to  one side of the room and did  a workshop with us , then I understood it more. The easy part for me was saying what degree the angle was and using a protractor.
