The Excellent Game Of T Ball

Yesterday Whaea Kasey came to Paihia School to teach us how to play T ball. When Whaea Kasey was explaining the rules I think that she was really understanding. We got put into two groups we had two leaders and they were Stilly and Anyah I was put into Stillys team. Our team got to bat and Anyah’s team were on the field catching the ball. When it was my turn I was really nervous to hit the ball but when I went to hit it I thought it went quite far. Would you ever teach children how to play t-ball?

Amazing Athletics Practice

For our  first two weeks back at school we have been doing athletics practice. We were put into groups and every Thursday and Friday we swap over actives. We have five athletics activity called shot Long Jump, High Jump, Sprints/Relays, Discus and Shot put. I am only allowed to do Discus and Shotput because I just finished having surgery. It is fun doing athletics  because on the day we are not just going to have our school we are having heaps of other kids from different schools. Do you like athletics?

Mind-Blowing Facts About The Weather In Te Reo Maori.

 This week for Te reo in our class we are still working on  the weather forecast. We were learning how to say the weather in Te reo, my group and I are just about finished our script. It was hard thinking of a place that snows, then I had a harder think and I thought of Queenstown. When we finish completing our script we have to make something to share, we were thinking of doing a screencastify. I think next time we could make our script faster. Have you done Te reo around the weather?

Flash Hotel Holiday.

 On the 28th of September we started our holidays. Throughout the holiday I did heaps of fun and exciting things. One of my favorite activities throughout the holidays would have to be going to this really flash hotel. In the hotel that we were in there was a big outside pool and a big spa there was also 10 rooms and  every room had their  own deck. I feel like I picked the best room because I could see the sunset  really clear and it looked really pretty. When we were in the pool we did a challenge and it was called last to leave the pool, It was a bit hard for me to stay in the pool but I was one of the 3rd ones to leave  last it was really fun doing the activities.
