Swimming

On Monday and Thursday some of the kids in Te Ngahere went to the beach because our
pool is broken and we are on a water restriction. Every Monday and Thursday Whaea
Shanna will take kids that brought there togs and if we dont bring our togs Whaea Chrissy
will teach  Digital DIG that's where we learn about how to use a chromebook. When we
go to the beach we all done a bit of training in the water then we got to have free time.

Te Ngahere # 2

Today Te Ngahere went for another walk to the ngahere to get some ideas for our class room.
Today what happened was Whaea ronnie put as in to groups and said what part of the
class we had to design. When we arrived to the Ngahere we looked at staff on the
ground and up. It was hard trying to find staff that related to part of the room.
What was fun about the walk is seeing new thing that we didn’t see before on out bush walk.

  

Te Ngahere

On Tuesday the 10/02/2020 our class Te Ngahere went for a bush walk to the ngahere. Before we left to the ngahere we got in to 3 groups one group was with Gina other group was with whaea chrissy and the lucky last group was whaea ronnie was with The reason why we went for a walk up in the ngahere is because our class is name after the ngahere. We looked at thing that we will like in our classroom,We also found dead trees, new tree growing, old leaves and new leaves just starting to grow. When we were starting to walk we found a old tree growing on a new tree and whaea ronnie said it was just normal.

Technology

Yeasterday the year 7 and 8’s went to  moerewa to do technology and also to do cooking and wood works. When we arrived to moerewa school some of the year 7’s  went with they year 8’s for cooking because there was less year 8’s and more year 7’s. When we went into the woodwork room there was a reliever for Mr E. The first activity was to draw something that relates to your family and yourself what i found hard was drawing my 3 ideas but we were only allowed to make 1 of those 3 ideas that we had drawn. After we done our drawing the bell rage so at morning tea whaea roni made a group for turbo touch so throughout morning tea and lunch. When we finished lunch we learnt how to use some of Mr E tools we also had to write  all the learning thats where on the bored. After learning and writing we clean up and then we waited for the bus and went back to school.
